Lasciando il Campidoglio, il più piccolo dei sette colli, era anticamente il centro religioso della città. dove si potrà ammirare sulla piazza antistante, la Statua di Marco Aurelio si prosegue la nostra passeggiata per Via dei Fori Imperiali una delle più suggestive strade di Roma, fino ad arrivare al Foro Romano simbolo dell’antichità della civiltà romana.

Ricordiamo infine che ogni anno più di un milione di persone giungono da ogni continente per visitare la Basilica di San Pietro, e i Palazzi Vaticani, che costituiscono un centro artistico e monumentale unico al mondo.
